Spring Concert Announcement

Dear Friends of the Deutscher Musikverein of San Francisco
When was the last time you listened to a German band and they did not play a polka?
Well, now is your opportunity!
Please join us for our annual spring concert, which we’re calling “Everything but Polka: Dance Music from Around the World.“
Our musical director, Adrian Quince, has assembled a delightful selection of dance music from as early as the late 1700’s (Beethoven) through the 1800’s (Brahms, Gottschalk & Strauss) to the modern age, including a fun selection from Queen and some other delightful surprise pieces, many of which will sound quite familiar to you.
We will perform from 2pm until 3:30pm and afterwards we’ll host our traditional Prosecco, German snack and apfelstrudel reception!
We’d love to have you come and enjoy the music and then spend some pleasant social time with old and new friends. We are not only music enthusiasts but we are also a group that loves to create pleasant events for our community to congregate.
As always, there is no admission fee and donations will be appreciated and accepted but not required.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
